Experience
During my Senior year in High School, I tutored an elementary school student in general math. My first semester at TAMU I began tutoring with HOSTS (Helping One Student To Succeed). Through this organization I tutor an elementary school child once a week in Math & Reading. I have also worked as a Substitute Teacher for Taylor Middle School while home on summer break. I have enjoyed working with children in various ways, including tutoring. Along with my tutoring positions, I have held several other jobs that have allowed me to gain more experience with children of all ages. The summer prior to my freshman year at TAMU I worked at a day camp as an AG Counselor. This job allowed me to teach children in urban areas about basic animals on farms & ranches. I have also worked as a babysitter for the previous two summers.

Hobbies
In my spare time I love to be outdoors working with animals in any way. I grew up on a ranch in a small Central Texas town, so my hobbies include: working cattle, riding horse, raising livestock, hunting, and fishing. I absolutely love taking my dog, Roper, for walks and to play in the park. While in College Station my spare time is spent participating in extracurricular clubs such as the TAMU Saddle & Sirloin Club & HOSTS, along with various internships at Livestock Shows such as the State Fair, Houston, and San Antonio.
