Experience
I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in journalism and agricultural communications. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I enrolled in Dallas Theological Seminary and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Christian education. As a lifelong student, I have a passion for teaching and learning. There's nothing that I love more than helping students improve their classroom knowledge and build the life skills necessary to succeed out in the world. My experiences as a teacher have taught me the importance of building relationships and getting to know my students' personalities. I believe that the best way to help someone reach their academic goals is to create interactive lessons that include a variety of activities and examples that help students increase their understanding in the classroom as well as in the world. Part of the way that I engage with the students is by creating an energetic and lively classroom that encourages pupils to move around and be active. I believe that education isn't something that needs to be confined to the chairs - it must be enjoyable for students to get the most out of their classroom time. Along with agricultural sciences, I also enjoy tutoring college prep material, study skills, critical reading, and essay writing.
