Before beginning my college career, I spent eight years in the Army, where I spent time working as a respiratory therapist and an air defense coordinator. Originally, I joined the Army because I didn't perform well academically in high school. I believe that the time I spent in the Army gave me a new appreciation for things, and want to share with the students that I tutor the importance of a good education. Currently, I'm a student at Arizona State University, where I'm working to complete my degree in biomedical engineering with a mathematics minor. I began tutoring through the University Academic Success Program at Arizona State University, and enjoy helping students improve their physics, chemistry, and math grades. I tutor students in various mathematics subjects, including elementary math, middle school math, arithmetic, math for grades 6-12, pre-algebra, elementary algebra, developmental algebra, intermediate algebra, linear algebra, college algebra, differential equations, precalculus, multivariable calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, applied mathematics, trigonometry, and IB Further Mathematics HL.
