Experience
I believe that teaching mathematics well is very important and very enjoyable. My mathematical journey began in 2005 when I began attending community college with the intention of becoming a high school mathematics teacher. I have spent nearly every day of the last eight years involved in some form of teaching or tutoring. Having tutored numerous students over the years from a wide variety of skill levels and backgrounds, I truly enjoy helping those with a desire to learn. In addition to my education, I have substantial experience teaching. I have taught mathematics classes at the university level and worked as a teaching assistant for several classes; I also have experience teaching and tutoring at the middle school and high school levels. Classes I have taught or TA'd at Texas A&M include: -Business Mathematics I -Engineering Mathematics I -Engineering Mathematics II -Calculus I -College Algebra I have been awarded several teaching honors including "Outstanding Teaching Assistant" in 2013, "Outstanding Student-Teacher" in 2009, and was recognized as a College of Science Teaching Fellow this past year. I have an enthusiasm for teaching others and am looking forward to working with future clients.
