Throughout college I have enjoyed working with fellow students to improve their course grades. Simply attending class isn't enough to understand the material, and learning new concepts can be difficult without guidance. That's where I'd like to help you or your child! I want to make the big picture very clear, while also covering all of the details that will help you score higher on tests. I am very passionate about teaching, specifically science and certain math classes. If you need help in a class that isn't listed on my profile, feel free to ask if I can cover that material! I have taken all of my core classes (which I have not listed) and many animal science classes. Whether you're in college or high school, I will take the time to find a teaching style that works for you. I always keep in mind that many science courses build on each other, so let's work to build you a strong foundation for success!

Hobbies
In addition to my schoolwork I am also an undergraduate Research Scholar. This is now my second semester doing research through the Entomology department, and my projects are mostly microbiology-related. Outside of school I like to maintain an active lifestyle. I believe it's important to be a well-rounded individual and have a "work hard, play hard" mentality! My hobbies include traveling, rock climbing, guitar, piano and drawing. In high school I was in drumline, and I took horseback riding lessons for 7 years. I was also a veterinary technician my senior year of high school; this experience has helped shape my research interests.
